This is a postcard sent to Mary ("Maggie") Margaret Boyes from her brother Jim Boyes who resided in the orphanage "Boys of Lancashire Navy League Sea Traning Homes" located in Liscard at Wallasey. He is situated left side, 3rd row with the cross on his left shoulder right behind the tuba. Jim Boyes died young from consumption. I remember talk from Grandma about Jim having a pet parrot while in the Navy.

Jim sent Grandma this postcard addressed to:

On the postcard he asks Grandma to say "hello" to Mr. and Mrs. Grisdale.
